Diane Winborn Elementary 40 Years of Education and Quilt History
These designs represent the past, present, and future of the DWE students, faculty, staff, volunteers, and families. As the children grow and leave DWE they take with them the pride, confidence, and knowledge gained to stretch their wings and soar. As education has changed so have the science, art, materials, and techniques of quilting. Some of the work was done by hand, some on older sewing machines, and now on the most modern of sewing and quilting machines. It is a pleasure to share these treasures of education and quilting history as a display of how together we soar.
